When you are ready to order a copy of Young Playwrights 101, click on the Buy Now button for the appropriate version: the e-book or the paperback. Both versions are available for purchase worldwide.
Once you select a version, you will be asked how many copies you would like to order. In both cases, you will find that the more books you buy, the lower the average price per book. Once you've selected a quantity and are ready to checkout, if you wish to pay by PayPal, check or institutional purchase order, you'll be asked to create an account or login if you already have one. Want to pay by credit or debit card? No problem. You can pay with confidence using Google Checkout. Read on to learn more about payment and your ordering experience for each version of the book.
Payment Methods
I am pleased to use Google Checkout to process major (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) credit and debit cards. On a credit card statement, your payment will appear as *Google YP 101 J DORF.
You may also pay for your purchase using PayPal, an institutional purchase order or a check/money order (in US dollars only). Purchase orders require a purchase order number, and may be from organizations in the United States only. Merchandise will be shipped when payment is received, unless special arrangements are made prior to your order.
For a check or money order, please make payable to Jonathan Dorf and send to Jonathan Dorf, 7125 De Longpre Ave. #209, Los Angeles CA 90046. Books will only be shipped after the check/money order has been received and processed.
Discounts
If you've been given a discount code, you'll be prompted to enter it during the checkout process. Be sure to click on Redeem, or you won't be credited with the discount!
Also, remember that ordering more than one copy of the book (it has to be the same version) will lower the per book cost. So while a single copy of the paperback may be $19.95, if you order 10 copies, you'll only pay an average price of $17.42, with additional copies for only $15.00!
Purchasing the E-Book
The e-version of Young Playwrights 101 comes as a downloadable PDF file, which can be read with the free Adobe Acrobat reader, available here:

If you select the e-book, you will only need to download the PDF file once, but each copy you purchase is a license for 1 user. So if you buy 10 copies of the e-book, you now have 10 licensed users.
Once you've selected the number of licenses, you'll be asked how you'd like to pay. If you choose Google Checkout or PayPal, you will get a download link once your payment is confirmed on the site as well as in your confirmation email. If you want a copy of Young Playwrights 101 this instant—-and who can blame you—-this is the way to go. You'll be on your way to better playwriting in minutes.
You may also choose to use an institutional purchase order or check/money order, but if you choose one of these payment methods, you will not be able to download the book instantly. In the case of a purchase order or check/money order, payment must be received and processed first before you'll receive a download link.
Purchasing the Paperback
Of course, good things come to those who wait. Purchasing the paperback version gives you an attractive, bound copy of Young Playwrights 101 for your classroom, library, desk, studio or other writing location.
Once you've selected the number of copies, go to checkout (either though Google Checkout, or by creating a login/logging in). You'll be given a series of shipping options from which to chooose. I strongly recommend you select UPS, which offers secure, verified shipping. While you also have the option of less costly United States Postal Service shipping, be aware that these orders are generally not guaranteed, and you assume all risk for lost orders. If you are ordering from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom or the EU, your books are printed and shipped in or near your home countries. UPS rates will reflect this.
You will also be asked how you would like to pay. Credit card is recommended, but you may also pay via PayPal, institutional purchase order (US institutions only) or check/money order (your order will not ship until payment is received). See Payment Methods above for details.
So what happens now that you've filled out your order form, selected your shipping, and your payment has been processed? On the next business day, your order will be sent to the distributor for fulfillment, which takes currently takes 3-5 days but should take less than 48 hours once they complete their move and facilities upgrade. At that point, your order is on its way to you. That means, for example, if you place your order on a Friday afternoon, it will be sent to the distributor on Monday and should be shipped on Wednesday. Also, please take into account that UPS generally does not move on weekends.
